Our Curriculum

Our teaching staff is dedicated to making The Grove Preschool program a positive learning experience for young children. Our classrooms for older children are arranged into play/learning centers. Children are able to make choices and participate in small-group activities.

Nondiscriminatory Policy

Registration

A registration fee of $100.00 is due upon enrollment. The first week’s tuition and your backup payment method are due on or before your child’s first day of school. After receiving your registration fee, we will hold your child’s spot in his or her class or place them on the waiting list for future spots that are going to be available. A two-week notice of intent to withdraw or two-week payment is due at the time of withdrawal.

Employment Opportunities

The Grove Preschool encompasses childcare for infants to PreK4. The Grove Preschool is a Christian school, with a Bible-based curriculum. We employ full-time and part-time preschool teachers, infant care-givers, and support staff.

Applications are always being accepted. Application must be completed in full before an applicant can be considered. All applicants must pass a background check.

Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in creating a nurturing, Christ-centered classroom environment.
• Assist with faith-integrated lesson plans, activities, and learning centers.
• Supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, and transitions.
• Ensure children’s safety, health, and well-being at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Model Christ-like behavior through patience, kindness, love, and respect.
• Encourage children’s spiritual growth through prayer, Bible stories, worship, and character-building activities.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families, and staff.
• Prepare classroom materials and activities as needed.
• Observe children and communicate progress, needs, or concerns to the Lead Teacher or Director.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and spiritual formation activities as required.

Qualifications

• Background screening clearance as required by Florida law

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification
